Light bulb question

i need to get new bulbs for my coralife compact fluorescent fixture. It is 96 watts and needs the 34 in. buld. square pin. Is there any diiference between the coralife10000 or the current 10000 bulbs. Can I a current bulb in a coralife fixture if the pins are the same? :confused2:

I'm sure there is some diff. in PAR, but to answer your question, yes, they both would fit if they'r eboth square pin. They should be the same color (since they are both 10K bulbs, but there may be a little variation in that one is a little more bluer than the other)

There is also a slight difference in the overall length of the bulbs.

I bought the off brand (hellolights) PC actinics (sp?), and I was fairly disappointed. They were 3 dollars cheaper per bulb, but they're like super bright purple...not blueish at all. I will def. go dual actinic next time.

I guess FWIW...

But in terms of 10k, I cannot imagine a whole lot of difference, if there is, somebody's lying.
