Light Height

I have a 20g custom cube 16x16x18h

After adding my back chambers and the Foam/Rock wall and LR
the display holds about 12g.

I want to know what would be the optimal Height to set my light above the water surface. I have a Coralife 150W MH Pendant.

Right now its 5-6 in above the water surface here is a pic.

Let the water temp dictate the height and photoperiod. If it's too hot, raise and shorten the light on period until you find the sweet spot. I'd start a bit higher myself, but if you have the room cool enough you might get away with it.
