Light question

So I'm back- sorta. I picked up the 24g nano from Linda and Loren yesterday but it has to sit empty until we get moved- so for about 3 weeks.

Anyway, my question- I have a 250w MH pendant that would fit perfectly over the tank. Would that be WAY too much light? Or could I just raise it a little higher and get away with it? I know I'd have to watch the temp in the tank.

I think you would be fine.I would start out high and adjust down to not bleach any corals .but current usa makes a 20 in 250w MH fixture so I don't see any problem .IMO

I think it would make a great clam/sps tank!
