Hi,
I am in the planing stages for a reef tank with the following dimensions 72" long by 24" wide by 24" deep. I was looking at an ati t5 fixture. It is 6x80 watt bulbs and is 60" long for a grand total of 480 watts. My question is with the fixture only being 60" long and the tank being 72" long how bad would the light output drop off be at the sides of the tank? Also would this be ample light for a 24" deep tank? I don't think my aquascaping is going to be very high maybe halfway up the tank. Plan to start with some hardy LPS's then add SPS's.
Thanks,
Paul
