lighting for 125G reef

well im going to pick up the tank sometime this week from a local ARC member that i saw earlier today now i have a question about lighting would any of you recommend the nova extreme pro 72" for this tank? or would you go MH for a tank of this size need some suggestions

Im pretty sure someone is selling an almost new Current Outer Orbit 72" fixture with 3 x 250W Metal Halides, 8 x 39W Actinic T5's and moonlights for a good price! Let me know if you want to go the MH route!

Thanks for that one more thing i dont have room for both tanks so how do you other members go about upgrading tanks? do i slide the other tank over fill the other tank with sand and get some dry rock then slowly move the liverock from my current tank to seed the tank so i wont see a cycle then move over the livestock and corals? in my 55G tank i currently have 90lbs of LR
