Alright my fellow cubers....what kind of light do you have? I would like to stay with T5 or LED. I plan on only having my RBTA, elegance and fiji yellow, so the light demand isn't crazy. I was thinking something like a reef breeder led unit, kessil, ati...I dont know. Whats your thoughts?? What do you have and how have your corals responded. Thanks!
Lighting for a 60g cube...?

I have a Reefbreeders Nova A4. I've had it over my 60 cube for a year. Logan,at reefbreeders, was great to work with. I finally got it dialed in and my corals are doing great. I set my Blues at 70% and my Whites at 25% during peak photo period(1 to 6pm). I'm finally getting good coralline growth on the back of my tank. You can set Blues only to 10% or less to get moonlight effect. The 70/25 ratio during peak hours gives off a 14 K effect. It is totally programmable. It can be programmed in 30 or 60 minute increments. There are no heat issues at all. My light is 7 inches above my 60 cube.

Just to be clear about the Nova A4......They have NOT stopped making the Nova A4. Reefbreeders may not stock them anymore but, the following link will show you that they do sell them at the same price Reefbreeders did.

So, they do still make the Nova A4 and it is totally programmable. I called Barrier Reef Aquariums and spoke with the owner. They have 4 in stock with extended warranty past the normal 2 year warrany if you buy one from them.

Kessil A360W on my cube as well. Too early to tell on growth though. I will say my blasto heads have doubled in 3 months but not sure if the light is solely responsible or the change in environment too moving from a biocube.
If you like shimmer, at least give the Kessil a shot. It's pretty spectacular.
