Hi Folks:
I have a 14 gallon Oceanic biocube with 2 compact flourescents. It is way too much light for 9 neons, 4 guppies and a small catfish. I wouldn't mind keeping the actinic tube, but don't like the day light type tube. Any ideas for something that doesn't produce such a stark white light (and algae)? The tank is underfed and 50% water changes every 2 weeks. I am just looking for lighting to flatter the fishes colors. The old fashioned purple-ish enhance bulb, I would think would work well. I am also not married to having both bulbs on. My photperiod is about 4 hours.
Thanks!
