i started a 110 gallon project several months ago, but stalled out due to money issues. i've saved enough now to go ahead and get it started again and i need some advice on lighting. the tank is 60 inches long and i want to use t-5 lighting. there is a brace in the middle. because of my high ceilings, i cant hang a light and i was hoping not to have a canopy. with all of that, any ideas on how to put a fixture above the tank? is one 48 inch enough or should i go with two 36? any suggestions? should i just bite the bullet and build the canopy?

thanks

kevin

build a canopy, its very easy and well worth it. that way you can do yourself the better and get retro fit T5 set ups....IMO, they are much better than most of the T5 fixtures :)

Canopy! It will give you much more flexibility in lighting options.
