lighting suggestion

I have to 2 pendants on legs for my setup. I really want to get rid of my glass lids, so I need to brace my lights or install them from the ceiling. Has any1 ever installed them from the ceiling, if so how did u do it. Pics? I also have cathedral ceilings in this room to make things better... has any1 ever made some type of brace for their pendants.

Like Two eye hooks? I've suspended my 36" fixture from the cieling, using a copper " T " Bar that is turned upside down and suspended by 1 eye hook.

Why not use an "L" bracket on the wall that goes out far enough to put the lights where you want them on the tank.
