 We have FINALLY got water (well half of it anyways, waiting on the rodi to finish making the rest today) into our tank. We have a 92 gal corner tank and will have a 30 inch coralife power compact light to start with. It has the regular flourecent lights for the day, actnic for twilight and leds for nighttime lighting. My question is, how long do you have each of your lights programmed for? We would like to set our tank up as a reef tank, but since our tank/sand/rock is all new we will not have corals for quite some time. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Also, any tips/suggestions/good to know info about cycling our tank?

I use the reverse method to keep the ph up, that is if your running a sump light ( which i know you are) So my actnics run for an hour the my daylights come on for 6 hours ( so actnics plus daylight are running) then my daylights shut off again and I leave my actnics running for another hour then off. Then my sump light stays on for the remaining 14 hours ..

T5's - I run my actinics for 12 hours, whites for 10 - comes on 1 hour after actinic and stays on 1 hour longer than whites, moonlights then come on for 6 hours, all goes dark from about 4am to 8am

I plan on shortening my whites to keep temp and algae in check.
