Hey I have a 48" coralife 260W power compact with an extra set of bulbs with about 6 months of use and 5 months of use on the ones in the light. It has adjustable legs so you can tilt up the light and lock it in for cleaning the tank or for whatever. $100 the one I have is black with the dual fans on the top.

GO for the coralife!

I had an Odyssea - even though I can't complain, it was working flawlessly for me, I read many horror stories about them.

thank you for the info i think i will
lol i dont think i will buy that light

A lot of them catch on fire. If you buy it, you must rewire it and resolder all of the connections. IMO, it's not worth the risk or the hassle.

I just bought the t5s and i dont think they are as bright as the pcs i had originally.

They may not be High Output T5s. If they are, I'm sure the ballast isn't putting out the rated amount. I'd like to see a Kill-a-watt on that fixture.
