I have a 30 cube set up. Right now I have a 150 sunpod. I am debating the sunpod or going with a t5 set up.

If I went with a t5, how many bulbs.and what color.

Tank will be mainly zoas with a few acros. I may add a chalice or 2, unsure on that atm.

I'd go with a 6 bulb minimum. We have a TEK 4-bulb unit on Sandie's 30 and about all it can manage at the sand is softies, SPS will live 2/3 of the way up but I don't really see growth. Color would be up to you, but my starting point would be 2 white, 3 actinic and one pink.

LEDs all the way. On my 29g biocube, i had a 150w MH and it was alright but the temp went to 81 and the color was alright. Now i have 24x 3w LEDs on the tank and the temp is a solid 75(with heater) and the colors are amazing. As for growth, it is decent in the SPS but the softies really like it.
