<<The only thing I can think of...sounds strange>>
I have a 55gal with a deep blue solar Xtreme t5 light system. (ho448)
I changed the stock deep blue bulbs about a month ago with 2 - geisman blue + and 2 geisman act + bulbs.
Since then my zoa's/poly's have not split or anything. They open wide about the same as before, but overall it appears they have slowed growth. I have some Xenia that split, but that started before the bulb change.
I noticed that the act+ bulbs make the tank more blue then purple, which make my blue fish glow, but the nuck green zoa's look just green and not glowing like under the stock purple'ish lights. With only four bulbs, do I just stick it out or change a bulb to pure act or a 6500 ...ect..????
