I remember a while back someone had built a light bracket out of some aluminum tubing and did a search on it and couldn't find anything. I am looking for some very lightweight tubing that I can make an adjustable light bracket to house my lumenmax elite reflector as well as some sort of other lights (led,t5, vho). I am building a canopy that is on a hinge that will allow the entire canopy to be opened up and am researching different option to allow my light to move out of the way and allow me full access to the entire top of the tank.

Anywhere in the ATL metro area carry something like this?

Thanks

Might try using metal conduit and also Oz's build thread has pictures of his light rack.

Lowes sells aluminum and steel bar stock. Mansell Road location has it.

You can even use there bender in the store before you buy it the aluminum .Just put 2 - 90's on it.

his is built out of thin wall steal, and he is going to have it powder coated so it will not rust. it looks heavy, but its not.
