Take a look at my lion fish--I fed hima shrimp tonight-and he went crazy-Don't know if he sucked up some air or something? He has been lying upside-down on the bottom with the end of the shrimp hanging out of his mouth for the past 5 mins. or so--managed to get a pic. or two. He is about 5-6'' (w/o spread) Do you guys think he's ok?

have you tried to remove the shrimp?? I dont know if thats the right thing or not but if mine was lying like that I probably would..I dont know if they can choke or not...

Nah-I've fed him shrimp that size for over a year now-but he lunged for the shrimp and flipped around top of water, turned over on back and sunk to bottom-meanwhile, niger trigger is trying to "pick" shrimp out of his mouth

here they are--he is bleeding everywhere-I assume I get him out??

Yeah--I have a foxface--he's not aggressive, but I think the lion came down on top of the foxface-and it gashed him-- I just took him out-almost like losing a member of the family

thanks everyone-I took him out and euthanized him--he wasn't going to make it-

Sorry to hear....... see this thread! Those guys have great personality.
