lip/mounting bracket on eshopps broke help.

Hey guys bought a used overflow off ebay and it came in broke during shipment i have to replace a bulkhead that will be easy but here is my next problem the bracket also broke that hangs the outside to the tank. I melted it back on with a soildering gun and placed it on tank and filled it up with water no hoses it held even with me pushing down on it and shaking it. I took it off and laid it down then later i picked it up wrong and it easily re broke it which i did put all the wait on the repair point the way i picked it up.... should i re do it the way i did before or any suggestions? Here are some pics.

the break is never at water line as the water in overflows only goes up halfway.

The only good way to fix acrylic is with Weld-On. Unfortunately, it isn't easy to find and isn't cheap either. I think a tube is about 22-25 bucks (but of course you can glue a lot more acrylic with a tube than just this one thing).
