Every once in a while I'll see a small, translucent dead critter float by. Normal? Pretty sure one was a shrimp and the rest were either copepods or amphipods, whichever is larger. This has happened once a week for the last few weeks. Tank is only about 5 weeks old. No fish and a few corals.

Thanks!

As far as the shrimp goes, may not be dead could just be molting

Bristle worms are fine. They are some of the best clean up crew you have. If you choose that you do not want them you can get a few different types of wrasse that will eat them. As for the dead critters maybe they didn't make it through the cycle. As long as it doesn't get worse I would say it is normal for a few copepods to perish. Although I would keep an eye on things.
