Well the Blacker Ice little guys have now grown up and graduated to grow out. Still need a couple of weeks before they can go to their new homes, but thought I would share a short video. Most of the orange will more than likely turn black as they get older. Their mom and dad are almost all black.

Make sure to watch in HD

Thanks man! It takes a lot of work, so it is very gratifying to see them grow from basically specks of pepper to what you see now. I've been trying my best to rear some picasso perculas and it is slow going right now. I've had about 15 survive meta so far. Some are turning out with awesome patterns with full helmets too. Of course those are from my Doni Snowcasso lineage and C-Quest Onyx pair. I just recently had a pair start laying that I paired together, (Platinum female and one of James Cooks picasso males). The female Platinum transformed from a breeding male to female after it's mate died. So it will be awesome to rear some of their young. They laid their 4th clutch last week and I went ahead and tried to rear them had 100% hatch rate but down to 25, 4 days later hoping for some survival but we'll see. Most clutches have been huge too, 400+, so excited about that.

Anyway thanks for the compliment!

Great job - nice to see all those clowns growing out!

Don't get frustrated with the picasso's ... percs are harder to raise & go through meta than ocellaris. I had probably a 30% higher mortality rate with percs vs. ocellaris when I bred them. The also grow out a LOT slower, but well worth it.

Love, Love, Love the clip man! Like John said, great job. Keep it up, I'm going to need some good breeding stock one of these days...
