seems i have lots of questions today....i have noticed on my snails they occasionally have little white tube-like things hanging on their shells...are these a type of parasite?...i cant get a good picture of them because they are so tiny...do i need to get rid of them somehow?
thanks

I have the same. I was told by a LFS that it was a worm at one point. But mine are empty. Mine looked like little burrow holes that had twist and turns

hmm...i have little white corkscrew thingys on the glass occasionally..these things look like little brown or white tubes on the snails...very tiny

Normal. They are either tiny tubeworms or vermatid snails.

Good, not bad.

Nothing much. They filter feed.

In other words, they aren't anything to worry about.

I've got them on the cords that extend to my Tunze powerheads...

and on the snails/live rock, etc..
