Live sand

If I add 10 pounds of brand new live sand to my display tank will I get a cycle.

What size is your Display Tank and How long has the Tank been set up for

92 gallon and its been set up for 5 mths.

I would say it's o.k. since it's such a large tank.The time it's been setup maybe a little bit of a problem But with 92 gallons I would go ahead and do it if it was mine or maybe add sand with a water change ,But please see what others say as well couple post are always nice
