Hi to all reefers,
I am just want to see if anyone have use liveaquria pro reef salt before and what's your opions/ result? Thanks

I love it. Mixes clean and clear, within 15 minutes I could see the bottom of a 55 gallon brute can and in a half hour it's crystal clear. The parameters also work well for where I like to keep things.

And you can get it on sale once in a while. I was nervous that they would stop making in when Fosters & Smith went away but I'm glad it's still around.

Thank you all for quick feedbacks. I am glad that I purchased 55lbs for $70 which I thought it was a good deal but I haven't used it before.

I sure do miss Dr's F & S and the coupon stacking they allowed. The 8 boxes I have totaled out to $33.30 a box. I'm going to be cycling with IO for the initial fill ups that will be happening very soon, but will be transitioning right over to this.

The 8 boxes I have go back to 2019 and have been sitting. But I should go through them in 6 months or less. Water changes will be part of my nutrient export in the beginning as my ATS gets settled in. I will be looking into a pallet purchase at some point later this year and will share the cost savings.

Let me know about that pallet. I am down to my last box. I too stocked up on them when there were at around $30 /box. I went the other way, I filled up my tank with one box and plan to use reg. instant ocean as my water change when I'm out.

Instant Ocean mixes clean as well, but the alk mixes higher than what I'd like, but nonetheless pretty darn consistent. It's not the end of the world with the higher alk, but I have to be very consistent on the timing of my water changes to keep my parameters somewhere near what I want and not having to adjust my calc reactor based on the slight change.

I can sell you one of my boxes but I'm not willing to part with any more than that ;)

Adam, if you don't mind if you going to order a pallet, I would like to get some too.
