How is LiveAquaria salt compared to Tropic Marin or Red Sea?

I use live aquaria salt as well. Mixes clear and consistent with my parameters
Too expensive right now even with the coupon. When they are $40 a box I stock up
Usually that was my price-point as well. But it’s been about a year since I’ve seen prices that low from them in fact the last time I bought was some cyber sale in the spring time of 2019 for the price was about $32 a box shipped, I’ve been watching very closely and have not seen better than 20% off in the past year. You can usually find a 15% off deal every other week or so on reef2reef.
I really, really wanted to use Live Aquaria salt. Everyone that I know and trust in the hobby speaks so highly of it and the price is typically pretty dang good. However, I had some strange negative results and ended up giving away what I had. It could have been any number of issues and the salt use was coincidental BUT every time I did a water change with LA salt, my stylophora's would turn white. Just the purple stylos. So strange that I can't believe it was just the salt but I tested it many time because I had 3 boxes of the stuff and it happened over and over again.
