I have been trying to eliminate the microbubbles in my tank. The bubble trap in the sump is working fine. The return section of the sump is bubble free. But still bubbles in the display, so the return line must be sucking in air somewhere.

Today I took out the Y-shaped Loc-Line I used to dump the return into the display, and the bubbles have disappeared.

Is it common for LocLine to produce microbubbles? If it isn't, I'll buy some more and try it again. If not, I may need to use PVC.

loc lines, barbed fittings, and things similar to those will produce bubbles. The holes in those things are small enough to not leak water, but it produce a venturi action as the water is flowing through the tube in high speed. I ended up like jeff by changing everything to PVC pipping and glue it in place.
