having issues with aiptasia in my tank now, its mostly on the sand bed and a few on a rock. whats the best way to take care of this? keep in my mind i have short arms and cant reach the bottom of the tank without a grabber lol
Bristletail filefish, Acreichthys tomentosus, is a well known reef fish that has a strong potential to eat Aiptasia and Majano pest anemones. Despite their long record, I’d actually never personally…
Filefish FTW. I wouldn't waste time with anything else. Looks like you have zoas, so that may be an issue. But hopefully they go for the aiptasia first, then you can remove when they go for others.
just an update a member of the arc facebook page gave me a filefish 2-3 weeks ago for free really nice of him and hes been clearing my tank of aiptasia since the day i got him its amazing how fast they work and he hasn't touched my zoas or any other corals yet anyway if he does they swim so slow he will be really easy to catch
