I have switched LED units from my Mitras 72-6 to Reefi Uno's on my frag tank and I am looking for someone that will allow me access to measure the spectral output of a Radion G5 Pro for the AB+ and PHX14 settings with my spectroradiometer. I want to capture 100% output for both settings as well as 50% output. My equipment is portable and takes only a few minutes to set up, so looking for about an hour of someone's time. I will provide a free frag of your choice for the help.

I've got the Gen 5 Pros in my display tank and a Gen 5 blue in my frag tank if you'd like to compare between the 2 models as well

Please share data/opinions/etc…. Would love to find out how these perform in real life. Thinking about switching some lighting on my frag tank as well. And this is a company I have been following. I know Jim @telegram online did a report and Dana Riddle was reviewing. But wanted to see a fellow reefers results and how you like it in the hybrid fixture as that is what I would need as well. Wanted to see how these play out compared to other lights.

@scuba steve Thanks! I'll send you a PM to arrange.

@sharis100 - Initial impressions - Two Uno's cost less than another Mitras 7206, so that was my decision point even though I like GHL and the Mitras LX 7206. The software is a little clunky to get used to at first, but the access is all web based so I can get to it from my computer, phone, or tablet. There is someone working on the UI and the interface is open source, so that will improve. It's very usable as is and much easier than the AI app as an example. You can create presets then set each time period by a drop down menu. Adjust a preset and all the time periods that use the same preset adjust as well. Once I got the IP addresses set as static on my router and linked the two units to each other, creating a program, choosing an existing program, or uploading a program from the web is simple. Save to update the program or refresh to return to the existing setting. Double click a time period and the light goes into manual mode and switches to the output associated with it. Each time period has a ramp timer, set to 0 to have a setting take effect immediately. This is my current program below and the light is set to 60% acclimating over 60 days, so that's why the peak output is only 105W per unit. AB20K is just my name for my preset, it's Telegraham's recommendation for AB+.

The Reefi Uno's shimmer like a Kessil and the lack of light spill into the room is very nice. Three year warranty - I haven't read the fine print but still it's a long time. I used Telegraham's settings and went for the whiter light option with 100% lime and increased amber and I did not like it. The color rendition was not like the Mitras, I would say it resembled sunrise. I have his AB+ setting and It's one reason I would like to get a reference to see if I can tweak the sliders to get what I want as far as a whiter light. For example, my gold torch is green at the moment. Daniel has a favorite setting that can be uploaded. I haven't tried it yet, but the blues are dialed back, so I expect a more balanced look. On the GHL I could easily simulate 14K or 20K output after I dialed in the AB+ spectrum, so I'm most interested in the PHX14 setting. Also, even though I have the output turned way down, my corals did not appreciate the switch. The T5's are the same configuration as my 36" fixture (2x Blue Plus, 1x Coral Plus, 1x Actinic) that I swapped with the the 48" Noopsyche Hybrid. My Torches retreated and other LPS shrunk back including my BR Mind Trix which may not make it even though the Par in those areas was low. I dialed the 400nm diode output back further this morning, decreased the duration, and things seem better.

Thank you for the information. Look forward to your further insights and exploration of the lights. Depending on your results, this might be my path as well. I still have to wait a few months before I decide so I will follow along and read your postings to see how things progress. Thank you for the update, glad Jim’s settings were helpful.
