I have/had (?) a Hi Fin Banded/Yellow Rose goby in my tank for months now. While it's always been a very shy fish, I've been able to find it's hiding spot, or it comes out for feeding, so I haven't gone more than a few days without seeing it. I added a tail spot blenny last week, and I haven't seen the little goby since. Can't find it in the usual spots, or coax it out of hiding. Is it dead? I've read about people "losing" these fish, only to have them pop up, perfectly fine, a month later. Any suggestions for locating it or coaxing it out of hiding? Appreciate any help, because this is really worrying me. Thanks.

If he was eating and nothing is stressing him, he should be fine. I’ve had wrasses and gobies go missing for weeks and turn up later.

Great news! She popped out this morning for feeding. I'm SO relieved! Looks like she's got a little burrow under the rock, right beside the diamond goby's burrow. She's moved from one side of that rock to the other, always staying close to him. While not "symbiotic", at least they're pals lol. Thanks everyone!
