Checked our 20-gal nanocube after being out for a while adn it was not running and the temp was 70 degrees. Luckily no fish in there right now, just corals, snails, and hermits. Hit the GFCI reset switch and everything restarted just fine. It has been a few hours and the temp is back up to 78 degrees.

Based on the timer, it appears the power was off about 4 hours. Do you think there will be any fall out in the tank or will it be fine? Everything looks fine, I don't see any dead snails or such.

Still can't figure out what tripped the GFCI either, really weird.

I doubt you'll have any problems with that little swing for a short period. Better too cool than too hot!

The temp issue will be fine most likely. The GFCI is the bigger issue.

70 isn't a problem heating too fast can be. Corals are forgiving of everything but quick changes in most instances.
