So i have a lunar wrasse (small), and he's obsessed with biting on my large koran angel's body. the angel seems sick. Is the lunar wrasse sensing his sickness and that's why he's picking on him? Or is he somehow trying to clean him?

anyone ever have this experience?

Every Lunar wrasse I've been around has been horrible... They all bullied other fish, often fish much larger. The worst one was about 4" long and tormented a grown Emperator angelfish. I'm sure there are exceptions but IMO it's typical.

I don't have expirence with the fish but I do know that he is not eating parasites from the angel. More than likely it's coming down to survival of the fittest. It is very common for fish to act aggresive towards weaker or and especially sick fish. Inaddition, from what I've read the males tend to be very agressive in and by themselves.

my angel might be sick regardless.

but i think i am going to be fishing out my lunar wrasse today. Even if he's not that bad now, he may flip later on. (he was a free fish from my neighbor who was breaking down his tank).

I had one and hated him. He tried to eat every fish and CUC i had. Very pretty fish but ugly attitude

mine took out my entire CUC and starting killing fish one by one. Had to use a fish trap and 2 days later he was back to the LFS where he belonged...
