I introduced GFO into my tank via a phosban 150 reactor about a week ago to knock down a slight phosphate reading. I tested my water yesterday with a Salifert kit and is now undetectable. My macro algae in my refugium isn't looking so hot, it looks like it is shrinking and losing color.

I am assuming it is due to the lack of phosphate and a reduction in Nitrate, I added a little bit of NoPox as my nitrates were reading 10ppm, a day later now reading 5 on nitrate. I just did abput a 20-25% water change as well. Should I keep the macro in there...will it harm anything?

It probably won't grow much if at all.
That's what mine did , even my decorative display macros just all shrunk away.
Maybe thining it out would help some for it to live longer but inevitably with no p04 or n03 it will not be needed.
