Mag dosing

So I have been keeping my levels pretty normal, my mag recently slipped to about 1300 and I normally keep it at 1400. Checking the calculator on BRS it says I need to dose 32oz of mag. Does that sound right, my gut tells me that's way to much.

How does everyone else dose mag? Daily/weekly?
