Making Salt Water In Advance Safe for Alk?

I just started my own mixing station, and I want to mix 30g in advance, so I won't have to keep making salt water. But I only use about 7-15g per change, and then the rest just stays in a bin until I'm ready to use it.

My question is, how far in advance is it ok to make salt water without having any ill effects? Should I make it 1 hour before I use it, 1 day, 1 week, or it doesn't really matter?

Any experience in the matter would be much appreciated.
I only ask this, because my alk is around 2.9 after a 30% change, and I'm wondering if the alk went down because I made it so far in advance.

Do you aerate the salt water. Do you temp it. I have 20 gallons that's sits mixing for 3 days sometimes and all always test ok. Usually mix on Friday and change Saturday morning. But I do have a maxijet 1200 in it while it sit.

i turn on my powerhead every now and then to keep it mixing. Before I add it to my tank, I turn on my pump for an hour.
