man i just had a close call.

Im typing on arc and start smelling smoke. ive got 4 tanks of water in my computer room. 2 reef tanks, 1 tank with live rock in it and one rubbermaid mixing water. so i cut on the lights and see smoke in the air lots of it. my water mixing rubbermaid has an aqua heat 200 watt titanium heater in it .well i didnt have the suction cup stuck to the bottom of the rubbermaid and ive got a mag 7 mixing water up. i guess the mag 7 moved and the heater fliped up. hanging the bottom out of water. the smoke was the rubber part on the end that hold the suction cup. it left a rainbow color mark on the heater body kind of like a streetbike tail pipe after its been used. not sure what would have happened but the heater was touching the side of the rubbermaid as well. glad i was pulling a late night on arc.

I think for now own I im mixing water and not around im going to use a glass heater. titaniums are nice but couod be a real night mare if something happens. they dont break.
