Hey guys Im sure this is in the wrong spot but have to tell all the divers around to go to the crystal river in the next few days if you can swing it. The cold snap has driven the manatees into the springs in numbers that were "unprecedented" according to park ranges. They counted nearly 600 when I was there this weekend.

They may end human contact in a few years and this is truly an amazing experience. The manatees enjoy interacting with people and if you float still will actively come up and make extensive contact with you.

Hope you can see this.

I have been there. I think it was Byrds or some other outfit like that at crystal river. Awesome experience.

Were heading to Destin next week. So if we wanted to see one of the springs, is there a good one to visit on the way or on the way back?
