Sounds like more of a PITA than it is worth. Good find though. I read the whole article. Is the TFH article online somewhere?

If you have the discipline to dose daily and keep on top of weekly water changes to fight the algae, go for it.

As for me, I want a tank with as little maintainence as possible. So unless I have a 100+ gallon tank, then I'll never buy one of those beauties.

If you have a well established tank (meaning over a year, you should have enough established coepods). I know someone that has this fish in a 12 gallon and he has been healthy and eating great for almost a year!
