I am in the process of making a manifold for my tank , my questions is , can I use brass barb fitting ? my local hardware stores has limited barb fitting , just wondering before I order offline . Your input is appreciated Thanks

I wouldn't.

Between Home Depot & Lowes, you should be able to find a pretty good selection of plastic fittings to do the job.

All use PVC fittings. Its simple and the right way to go.

the only place you can have brass fittings is before your RO unit. Definitely not on your manifold.

As has been mentioned, Lowes or HD should have you covered.

mcmaster carr will deliver to your door and will have much more that HD or lowes. BRS push to connect fittings are cheaper. and you also have Ace hardware

Brass contains copper which could leach into the water. Copper in your system would not be a good thing.

THANKS for all the help , I'M sitting here at work & didnt even think about the copper , lol , thanks again
