I've always wanted a dedicated mantis shrimp tank. After this vid I'm thinking after I move its a must.

If only it were that easy! You should build an army of trained attack shrimp!

Yea I was wondering the same thing!?

I'm guessing that they are using the ideal gas law to compare the amount of pressure created by the shrimp to temperature. Pressure is directly related to temperature but that would have to be a heck of a shock wave to create that much pressure! I know pressure is much greater on the ocean floor so that might have something to do with it also?

Im a Bio guy, a chemist or physicist could answer that much better.

Yeah. There are some amazing shrimp out there. I have a 2 1/2 inch pistol in my DT. I never see him because I don't have a goby for him yet, but, I hear him all of the time. You can actually hear the snap in the next room.

I also am in the process of standing up a mantis tank.
