Mapleredta, you did speak to me about a sw. I cannot reply to post or pm's bc my post count is not to three yet, even though I have responded to several threads. This has made communicating with other difficult. Not sure what I need to do to increase count.
I stopped by a local ARC members house Friday to see his tanks and ask some questions. He provided my with a good book to read and take notes from, and answered many question I had; I was so excited when I left his house. When I get ready to build I will like and want input from the many experienced reefers here into how to build my system properly. There are years of experience here and I want to draw from that. Right now I am feeling out all the different tanks available. I haven’t made up my mind how big I want to go yet. I like the 50 to 60 gallon cubes made by (I think) fish scale. I am leaving the country at the end of June for a sixteen day mission trip to the Ukraine. I don’t plan on doing anything by then but learning as much as I can. I am looking forward to our first Middle Georgia meeting. I hope someone will plan something soon. When I get ready to build and set up we can hold a meeting here and I can throw something on the grill for everyone.
As I have been a lurker here for some time and just recently joined with my membership coming soon, I have seen how this is a community of dedicated people who take great passion in there hobby. You have jumped in to help out members who have loses due to storms, provided information to those with tanks in stress, and several of you have volunteered to help a member move a new tank into their home. With the help of this community I feel comfortable that my first sw tank experience will be all that I ever hoped it will be. Tks all jr
