Marco Algae growing in the main display

I took a different approach to nutrient export, I have macro algae growing in the main display. I first had it growing on the rocks, but as it started to grow, I started pruning it back and the pieces that got free in the water column blew thru the pumps and started growing in the returns. It first annoyed me, but as it started to grow out more the look became acceptable.

If only I could find some Pom Pom and get it to do the same.

The picture really doesn't do the look justice, but when do there ever really capture what we see for ourselves.

And... I never clean my back wall, so it's looking a little nasty.
