It's amazing how far some of these corals can reach out and touch their neighbor. Stuff I've had for years can all of the sudden start sending out sweepers and annihilate everything around them. On the plus side, I've been able to use this for paly control. I've got some of those standard teal palys and their on a rock below my candy cane. If they grow too far up, they get stung back. It's pretty effective at keeping the paly from spreading out of control

Some of my corals look like model citizens all day but at night, if you check on them, are reaching for everyone around them.
