Meet the new additions: Watanabeis!

Man did I luck out with these fish. GREAT deal from Poseiden's reef on this pair of Watanabei angels! They are healthy and happy and very well adjusted already, and are easily my favorite fish I've ever had. What'dya think?

I also got a few other new additions, but the pics are real lame right now... Psuedochromis, Timor wrasse, and whipfin fairy wrasse. I'll try to get better pics tomorrow...

Wow, lots of replies so fast! I didn't have them special ordered. I actually have been asking around for a while and couldn't get them--not even from reefer madness or LA or any of the online vendors. But I saw them on the email list Poseiden's sent out several weeks ago. I was going out of town and tried to hold them but couldn't, and thought there was no way they would still be there, but sure enough they were two and a half weeks later. I made them give me a special deal since I drove all the way from macon! but I also drove away with a huge crocea clam and a nice piece of monti (can't tell what it is yet, but it's going to be a nice one...)

Anyways, nice fish man. They look gorgeous. I went to pos reef and almost picked up those angels... but then I thought they were just glorified chromis... Just kidding . Great additions!

Was that you that called them glorified chromis before? When I read that, I almost decided not to get em, but then I saw them in person and thought, man, that guy's just jealous!

No Jesse, I had said some other people had called them glorified chromis. I, too, have a pair, and they are also very personable.

I've had them for about 5 months. They hid for a day, but ever since have been front and center, and they are gluttons. I run my tank very heavy with fish, so they got a little intimidated by the other fish originally, but they certainly ahve their place now. The male will actually eat flake from my hands.
