how do you tell if its a pulse start or not is there a way to tell with out opening the box?

Should be marked or call the manufactor and ask them

He got it from me I believe. I think its a probe start. The only way to be positive would be to open it up and get the ansi number off the ballast.

its the one i got from you john just trying to bulb hunt so if its probe thats all i really need to know. the case would be a pain to open due the fact its riveted shut.

If I remember I did some research on RC and it was a probe start.
