Well, I bought a tri of Bi-color anthias a while back, the smallest one was killed by a clownfish so I pulled him out and bought another bicolor. the Clown has since been rehomed but the other 2 bicolors have dissappeared completely.....along with my harley shrimp.
I normally saw my harley about once a week in the same spot, I would toss a couple asterinas in and let him chow. I checked my overflows, my sump, my fuge but no sign....I did change some rockwork a while back and havent seen any of them since. i didnt remove any rock, just added some and put a few lb from the DT to the fuge.
I just figured 2 dead fish and a dead shrimp would cause some sort of fouling of the water but my params have not changed...
