I've heard others mention how they add there salt in small portions at a time and I always wandered why. I've been using Salinity and always filled my brute from my RODI, turned on a power head and dumped my salt in. An hour later I could do a water change.
I've recently switched to Red Sea Coral Pro and on my first water change with several hours of stirring my tank was cloudy for two days. I just mixed my second batch of salt and I'm letting it sit over night. I guess if that doesn't help I'll be tending to salt one scoop at a time.
What a Pain
Need a time release delivery system....
Ironic thing is people complained about Salinity leaving a residue in the mixing container. That is true for me as well but never really got why anyone would care
