Modern meat coral

Here is my meat coral before the move. He got a little damaged going from one tank to the other... I didn't realize it until it was too late but my friend lumped all the corals into the same bucket!!!

The meat coral has a few spots where skeleton is showing. He will still inflate sort of and a few spots are covered back with very thin skim. Is there anything else I can do to help him recover?

Feed it often and (gently) keep the sand off the skeleton .

They are pretty hardy, in my experience. I've had a huge one for 5 years. Keep it feed, especially being wary of shrimp and **** that'll steal its food. That in conjunction with stable parameters should lead to a full recovery.
