modern style stand

laminated yes with .020 aluminum finished to a stainless steel look

That is a very cool stand/lack of stand effect. One of the coolest pictures I've seen. I would love to do something like that, but I'm afraid my wife would kill me for blocking a doorway...:doh:

The architectural spec for that metal finish is #4 brushed satin.
