I'm modifying my lights in my biocube but have no idea how to. I thought I was just going to leave all of the ballast and wires from the PC lights in there but I guess I'll end up having to take that stuff out. If any of you guys have ever done this please tell me how! Did you take everything out or leave it in? By the way, this is the newest biocube.

I took everything out and put in a custom led setup I made. Depending on what light setup you are wanting to go with it will vary on what all you can reuse or may have to remove.

I got the ecoxotic panorama pro. I want to keep the fans in there if I can.

Not sure if it will be helpful or not, but RapidLED has a thorough write-up on how to retrofit with one of their units. Might be similar enough to show you what to do.

Hmmm... I'll take a look at it. I'm just confused about what to do with the wires and all that.

Thats the kit and directions i used. The fans came out, but only because the kit came with a bigger one. Best upgrade ever.

I looked at it and it helped some. I had to take out the ballasts and one of the big electrical cords. My only concern is, what do I need to do about moisture getting inside of the plastic cover? This is where I took out the big electrical cord from that rubber piece that holds the cord in place as it is coming through the light housing and out of the canopy.

I will send you some pictures of mine tomorrow. If i forget,pm me, but the plastic cover should go right back over what you put in.

I've been looking everywhere. I think the thing that is tripping me up the most is that the reflector is now curved instead of flat on the old model. That being said, the panorama pro will not fit into those bent areas on the reflector and there is no way you can mount it without the reflector.
