Montipora

I have a montipora and I was wondering if you can grow it under 7+ watts of PC light?

Have you done it before because the guy at the fish store said I had to have MH? Thanks!!! I don't want to sell him, but I don't want him to die either because that would be just a waste!!

I have Capricornis growing in the 55 under PCs As above, put it as high as possible. It will morph in to a little different color if it has been under MH but it will grow

it depends on what kind of montipora really... tho most monti's can survive under "lower" lighting

I had a monti cap under 6 watts/gallon PC and it didn't make it..Make sure that it is really, really high in your tank, and good luck!

I've got a question I have a red monti cap frag. It is under PCs. My question is how do you know if is doing alright. I have it high in the tank been there about a month. Still has color but haven't seen any fuzzy.
