Anyone ever order from these guys?

I have seen a thread about them on Reef Central. products are supposed to be good. I think their response time to emails was a bit slow, but their products are supposed to be good.

I use these for my moonlights, just to provide another choice. There is also a controller available with a monthly cycle, but I don't have it because I just use them for night viewing. They make a single and dual model.

how about these? Has anyone used these? They dont come with a controller but they are cheap and I can hook them up to the AC3 at least for on/off.

That is a current USA product. I'm sure they would work as well. Ask yourself what you want in a moonlight. They will be dimmer than the ones discussed so far.

The ones I use give shimmer lines on the reef, but they might be too bright for some folks. I would think about how much moonlight you want before you buy. The Fishbowlz and R2 products are pretty strong because of the number of LEDs in the product at five per.

If you are able, don't base your decision on price alone, but how you think they will look on your reef.

Well I have some Current Power brite strips that I am going to use for shimmer on the reef. As for the moon lights, I really just wnt something to be able to look at my tank at night. I think that is one of the best times for looking at tanks. so many cool little things. Obviously, looks matter, but as long as it's not unhealthy to the fish, anything that allows me to see at night will do.

Jorge, I am also looking at both the R2 and Fishbowlz moonlights. Which way did you decide to go? I want to run them all night but I am worried if they are to bright.

Very unfortunately, I am yet to choose any of them. It has taken me longer to set up this tank then I could have ever imagined. I am really going to do nothing else for the next two weeks other that try and complete this set up....moonlights will be a part of that...I'll keep you posted but if you happen to cave first let me know. ;)

Glad you like them. I like mine a lot as well. They really bring out the neon colors at night! If they are too bright for any reason, you can always block off 1,2,3,or 4 LEDs with a piece of electrical tape. I have six of these on a 210 and it is great at night!

yup. I ended up ordering these. Figured the reviews were good enough overall and I wasnt ready to buy a controller yet so these will do for now. Ill get back to you guys on how i like them once I set it all up. Still have to wire my retro fits and all that.

Did you get the white or nocturnal blue?
