Cleaned tank and did a 30% water change this weekend. Now today I find tiny white coils on the side of the tank. I doubt if I can get a picture. Does anybody know what these are and if they are harmful.

Sorry to be a pain with all of these issues but not sure where else to go and this is driving me crazy. Something different every day.

They sound like small feather dusters. Can you see a small reddish plume at the heads of any of the coils?

this shot is obviously with a macro lense, but I'm pretty sure this is what you have. No worries with these guys they are good.

They are good for your tank...filter feeders. I let them grow on the back of my tank but I clean them off the glass to keep it looking nice.
