Mounting my light

Okay I got my led light in today and it has the goose neck and then bracket to attach to rim of tank. Well I suppose the bracket is for a rimless tank so therefore it doesn't fit my rim. How can I mount it?

Can you post a picture of both the bracket and the rim of the tank?

Maybe the bracket can be modified... Are you running a canopy? Nhannon built a semi canopy over his tank which gives the appearance of hovering over the tank but not sitting on it, then he mounted the leds in that. I thought it looked really cool...
